This in-person meeting is an opportunity for CFOs, sustainability experts and investors to exchange views on how corporate investments and finance can best contribute to the SDGs. Taking a sectoral approach, the group will discuss the strategic relevance of SDG-aligned corporate investments and credibility of SDG targets in terms of materiality and ambition.
The meeting takes place during the UN’s 77th General Assembly and following a high-level Private Sector Forum meeting between corporate executive and finance chiefs and Heads of States to mobilize the private sector's response to the food, energy and finance crises.
The meeting will bring together high-level representatives from companies, banks and financial institutions and international organizations, including CFOs, CIOs and other executives from the CFO coalition for the SDGs.
