As CFOs in the Coalition, we have committed to work together with partner organizations and other key actors to develop, test, and refine guidance and recommendations to implement the CFO Principles. This Blueprint represents our collective experience in implementing the principles and understanding of underlying concepts. It is a dynamic, online platform that will evolve as our community continues to grow and progress towards integrating the SDGs in corporate finance.

Principle 1: SDG impact thesis and measurement

Creating comprehensive and integrated impact theses that reflect the breadth and interconnectedness of the SDGs and the unique contribution that companies can make to them.

Guidance on how CFOs can collectively help redirect trillions in annual corporate investments toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Creating a mainstream market for SDG investments by diversifying and growing the supply of corporate bonds and equity aligned with the SDGs.

Proactive and effective communication increases the ability of financial markets to allocate capital toward the most effective sustainability solutions.
